![]() The first picture shows my nephew Anthony, my niece Jennifer, and their ol' Uncle Jeff during my visit to Utah last summer, when I went to Salt Lake City to see The Monkees. Wow! What a bonus to see the kids, too! |
![]() We're still in Utah, as Anthony and I get ready to ride down the Alpine Slide! Good thing we didn't wipe out -- his Mom woulda beat me up! |
![]() It'd be a great view, if some geek weren't standing in the way! Just who is that ham in the Detroit Tigers shirt? |
![]() Here's a loop on Mantis at my favorite amusement park, Cedar Point. Hey, look! That's the Magnum XL-200 stretching into the sky in the background! |
That ship looks just a bit familiar! Well, whaddya know. It's the U.S.S. Constitution, in Boston. That would be the same ship which that Harpo character was "driving" on the Original Harpo! Page! |
Is anyone interested in a Tea Party? That's Boston, as seen from the Prudential tower. |
Is that Wayne Gretzky? No, that's Anthony! Look out, NHL! Here he comes! |
Ah, a delightful picture. On the left is my 90 year old grandmother. On the right is my slightly-less-than 90 year old cousin Gary. This picture was taken at Gary's house at Christmas, 1996. |
Just a little bit of my singing, and all of that snow came sliding down onto the highway! This spot apparently is where the bulldozers gave up trying to dig out the road! |
Did someone leave the water running? No, that's Horsetail Falls. I had to climb over the snowbank on the left in order to get this picture! |
That's Chateau Chenonceau sitting in my family room. Gee, shouldn't that be in France? Well, OK, so it's just a 3-D puzzle. |
Here's a picture of Austin, Texas. Why? Well, why not. |
Guess what? Austin is the capital of Texas! And this is the capital building. It's almost eerie how similar it is to Michigan's capital building. |
How did I manage to get this view from my apartment? Well, it helped that the ice storms in December knocked out a tree that was blocking the view. That's Mt. Hood, by the way. It's actually a volcano that could erupt at any second! Gee, what's that rumbling I hear? |
This rather long picture is Multnomah Falls. When this picture was taken, the Multnomah Lodge was trying to recover from those snow slides you saw up above. |
Here's Triple Falls. Reaching those falls just after that snow slid was an act of utter madness! Guess that describes me rather well! |

Here's me riding on Mantis. That would be the roller coaster that was pictured earlier. It's a Stand Up Roller Coaster. That means you don't get to sit down while you ride! Meanwhile, you go through four loops standing up. It took me five tries to get such a perfect pose while passing the camera! |
