You have found the developing site of the
Pennsylvania Coaster Cruise 2000

The Pennsylvania Coaster Cruise was a road trip, starting on June 30, 2000, and ending on July 9, 2000.  The 1663.1 mile trip involved visiting 13 amusement parks in 2 states in order to ride 54 unique roller coasters.  This site will tell all about the trip, day by day, coaster by coaster.

Whoa!  Back up the cart!  If the trip included 2 states, why is it called the Pennsylvania Coaster Cruise?  11 of the parks were located in Pennsylvania, with only 2 in Ohio.  One of those parks is already featured on the Harpo II pages.  Naturally, that park is Cedar Point.  The other park, Six Flags Ohio, was conveniently located while on the way to Pennsylvania, hence it was included in the Cruise.

As this site develops, there will be lots of pictures of the 54 roller coasters, plus my impressions of the parks and the rides.  Remember:  There's no such thing as a bad ride.  Some are just better than others!  The site will be put together just as fast as time allows.  Of course, with all the pictures that need scanning and image manipulation, it will take some time, so please be patient.

Keep checking this site.  Soon, it will be populated with roller coasters dating from 1902 to 2000!
